Currently about 170 indicators on the state of the environment in Switzerland are published on the website of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) http://www.bafu.admin.ch/umwelt/indikatoren/.
The project aims at setting these indicators into a global context, in order to compare Switzerland with other countries worldwide.
