Duration: January 2014 - December 2015

Under the MedPartnership program (2009-2015) and ClimVar project for the integration of change and climate variability in the ICZM process (2012-2015), the archipelago of Kerkennah was chosen to implement a demonstration project combining a quantitative approach to assessing the role of ecosystems in the adaptability to climate change (based on the methodology RiVAMP) and the participatory approach Climagine (inspired by the Imagine method developed and applied by the Plan Bleu in the framework of Coastal Area Management Programmes between 2000 and 2005). This choice was guided by the vulnerability of the islands to climate change and human pressures, socio-economic and ecological, cultural and archaeological treasures and the many studies and data available.
