UNEP has the mandate to inspire, inform and enable nations and peoples to achieve sustainable development. As environmental education is fundamental to achieve the goal of sustainable development, GRID-Europe developed information, knowledge and materials on environmental education and education for a sustainable future. These products aim to raise environmental awareness, involve educators and young people in environmental assessment, and encourage youth action at local through global levels.
