Remote Sensing for post-war Environmental Assessment

This quarter scene image from Landstat Thematic Mapper (TM), dated 31 July 1998, covering Belgrade and its surroundings is used combined with a post war image for a change detection study.

The above image is displayed using channels 1, 2 and 3 (blue, green and red) and represents a ground resolution of 30m. This satellite imagery is used by UNEP/DEIA&EW/GRID-Geneva for an impact assessment study in the region of Belgrade, Pancevo and surroundings.
